
African American Network: 4th Annual Celebration of National Black History Month
Tsukasa Taiko will be joining the Chicago Modern Orchestra Project and members of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians to perform at the 4th Annual Celebration of National Black History Month.
“A multi-dimensional homage to the first black superstar, “Le Tumulte Noir” celebrates her pioneering Paris revue and her pivotal role in the 1927 silent film “Siren of the Tropics.” This film score by Chicago composer (and frequent AAN guest) Renée Baker will be performed live.” – CSO website
This concert will take place in the Buntrock Hall on the second floor of Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
